General Instructions to Parents and Students – A Partnership in Progress
At Akchara Bala Bhavan (CBSE), we believe that a child’s education thrives when there is a strong partnership between the school and home. The following instructions are designed to ensure discipline, responsibility, and a safe, nurturing environment that supports every child’s growth. We request both parents and students to read and follow these guidelines diligently.

1. Punctuality & Assembly Attendance
All students must report to school on time and attend the morning assembly without fail. Late arrivals are discouraged and may result in disciplinary action.

2. Books and Materials
Students should bring books and notebooks as per the daily timetable. All books must be neatly covered and labeled with the student’s name and class.

3. School Diary
The school diary must be brought every day. It serves as a vital communication tool between school and parents. Misplacing or damaging it will require purchasing a replacement.

4. Sick Leave Protocol
In case of illness, a leave letter must be sent promptly to the Principal, along with a medical certificate if the absence exceeds two days.

5. Covering Missed Syllabus
It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that the child covers the syllabus missed during absence from school.

6. Uniform and Grooming
Students must wear the prescribed uniform neatly every day. Boys must have a regular crew-cut hairstyle; facial hair is not permitted. Girls should wear their hair in two braids or ponytails with black ribbons. Nail polish, mehendi, tattoos, fancy pins, and accessories are not allowed.

7. Personal Belongings
Students must take care of their belongings. The school will not be responsible for any lost items such as books, money, or valuables. Carrying expensive items or wearing jewelry is discouraged.

8. Discipline in School Premises
Students must maintain silence in corridors and stairs and refrain from running indoors. Cleanliness must be observed at all times, and littering is strictly prohibited.

9. Use of Electronic Devices
Mobile phones, smartwatches, iPads, or any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited. Confiscated items will not be returned and will attract a fine.

10. Medical Conditions
Students suffering from contagious diseases must not attend school until fully recovered. A fitness certificate should be submitted upon return.

11. Emergency Pickup
In case of emergencies, only authorized persons may pick up students during school hours. Prior permission must be obtained from the Principal.

Parents should cultivate regular study habits at home and check the child’s homework daily. In case of academic concerns, kindly approach the Principal during visiting hours.

2. Change of Address
Any change in residential address or phone number must be communicated to the school office immediately.

3. Teacher Interactions
Parents should not directly approach teachers during school hours. Meetings with staff must be scheduled through prior permission from the Principal.

4. School Visits and Communication
Parents and guardians are not permitted to call or meet students during class hours unless in emergency. Use official communication channels for all queries.

5. Certificates and Requests
Applications for certificates, endorsements, or official documents must be submitted at least three working days in advance.

6. Avoiding Gifts
Students and parents are requested not to offer gifts or favors to teachers or staff at any time.

7. Feedback and Complaints
All suggestions, feedback, or complaints must be directed to the Principal. Class teachers should not be approached for administrative matters.
